Commission an Artwork
Jennifer Bell creates commissioned artwork for collectors, interior designers and commercial projects in Australia and internationally. Each commission is individually created in Jennifer's established style, with the size, colour palette and direction developed to suit the space and project.
Commissions can range from original abstract paintings for private homes to larger works for interior design and commercial projects. An existing or sold artwork can also be used as a starting point for a new piece, while the finished artwork remains entirely original rather than a reproduction of an earlier work.
.
Commissioning an Artwork
The process begins with a written project brief outlining the size of the artwork, preferred colours, budget and any relevant deadlines. If there is an existing Jennifer Bell artwork or sold piece that you particularly respond to, include the title or link as a reference.
From there, Jennifer will discuss the direction of the commission and confirm the proposed size, materials, price and timeframe before work begins.
.
What Can Be Commissioned?
Commissions may be created for private collectors, interior designers and commercial projects, including:
- Original abstract paintings for residential interiors
- Large scale statement artworks
- Artwork developed around a particular colour palette
- Works inspired by the direction of a previously sold artwork
- Original artwork for interior design and commercial projects
You can explore the Sold Works Gallery for examples of previous artworks and series. If a particular work catches your eye, it can provide a starting point for discussing the direction of a new commission.
