Black & White Weave is an original abstract diptych composed of two hand woven paper artworks, each measuring 6x6 inches. Created using recycled paper on board, the works explore contrast, rhythm and repetition through a restrained monochrome palette.

The left panel is built from deep blacks, charcoals, and graphite tones, interspersed with subtle patterned fragments that introduce visual movement and density. In contrast, the right panel unfolds in layered whites and off whites where texture and light become the dominant elements. Together, the two works create a quiet dialogue between shadow and reflection.

The weaving process is central to the work. Strips of paper are cut, layered, and interlaced by hand, resulting in a tactile surface that rewards close viewing.
