Midnight Confetti
Midnight Confetti
The mix of pink and pale blue on a black background makes a bold piece. This abstract painting was inspired by the dancing colours and shapes I see at night with the neurological disorder visual snow. Night is never truely dark, the veil of moving dots and shapes is made even more obvious with darkness. While very little is know about the condition one theory I quite like is that it is the brains visual interpretation of its inner working, neurons firing. The patterns, kaleidoscopic designs and fractal like images are repeated in nature at every level, from the microscopic to space.
