This woven artwork is part of the Woven Muses series, a body of work exploring portraiture, identity and the tactile language of weaving.

A calm female portrait, a blending of photography, collage and new media, is interlaced with recycled paper featuring the same pattern as her dress. The weaving process introduces both rhythm and distortion, allowing the image to shift between clarity and abstraction. Layers of paper and texture invite the viewer to move closer, tracing how light and movement transform the woven image.
