These works have SOLD and found their forever home in Victoria and South Carolina.
These woven artworks form part of the ongoing Woven Muses series, exploring portraiture, identity, and the tactile rhythm of weaving.
In this piece, a quiet, contemplative female portrait has been interlaced with recycled paper featuring the same red and white pattern as her outfit. Through the process of cutting and weaving, the image shifts between precision and disruption, echoing the layered nature of perception and self.
The woven surface invites the viewer to look closely to trace the repetition, alignment, and small moments of disarray that bring the portrait to life. The result feels both fragile and composed, a balance between structure and softness, surface and depth.
